Monoprints and other materials
As with the new(ish) subject-matter of landscapes, I've only recently begun playing with new media centred around relief printmaking and the things that can be done with a finished monoprint. I love carving print-making plates from lino and am slowly coming to love the discipline of making limited edition print runs. The contrast of graphite pencil or watercolour with the density of printing ink seems to hold all sorts of possibilities that I'm looking forward to exploring too. Cartooning, while not strictly (or even not strictly) mixed media, will join the little family here for the time being. I've no idea where this might go, really, but am enjoying the journey so far.
